For one of our partners, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist who will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, employee relations and the full employee lifecycle within an international working environment.

HR Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including contracts, amendments, documentation and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with Bulgarian labour legislation and internal company policies.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems and support data accuracy.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics and analyses for management.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related topics.
  • Support disciplinary processes, performance evaluations, absence management and other employee relations cases.
  • Participate in onboarding, probation follow-up, engagement initiatives and offboarding.
  • Assist in HR projects such as performance management, learning & development and process optimization.
  • Contribute to improving HR processes through digitalization and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist in a dynamic international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in employee relations (disciplinary cases, complaints, evaluations).
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Bulgarian, both written and spoken.
  • High level of discretion and ability to work with sensitive information.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence in advising managers.
  • Proactive mindset, strong organization and adaptability.
