Cloud Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the cloud security strategy across AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms
• Manage and improve collaboration with our third-party Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring in multi-cloud setups
• Implement tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Azure Sentinel
• Enforce access controls, security baselines, and logging standards
• Integrate security into infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Support compliance efforts (SOC2 Type II, ISO 27001) aligned with frameworks like NIST and CSA CCM
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud security engineers
• Report on risk posture and remediation progress to stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on AWS and/or Azure
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing security operations or teams
• Strong knowledge of securing cloud infrastructure (IAM, encryption, network, logging)
• Experience working with or managing a third-party SOC/MSSP
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Solid understanding of compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, CSA CCM)
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Security)
• Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Strategic mindset with ability to lead distributed teams
