Windows System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s virtual server infrastructure, including setup, maintenance, and updates
• Handle corporate network infrastructure like LAN, Wi-Fi, and WAN, ensuring smooth deployment and optimization
• Maintain backups for virtual servers and network systems, ensuring they’re regularly tested and monitored
• Oversee the company’s IP PBX telephony systems
• Keep IT infrastructure documentation up to date
• Contribute to global IT and security projects
• Manage hardware and software inventory.
• Offer 2nd and 3rd level IT support to employees, resolving issues promptly
• Explore new technologies to enhance system and network performance
• Adhere to IT and security protocols and provide regular reports on changes and incidents
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong English language skills
• Practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server and common roles like AD, DNS, DHCP, and File Server.
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization technology
• Knowledge of Office365/Azure cloud and Intune MDM
• Understanding of VLANs, Routing, and Switching, with a grasp of OSI concepts
• Analytical problem-solving skills with root cause analysis abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to haves:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Familiarity with ZenDesk, LiveChat, and Voiso cloud PBX
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
