For our partner’s media team, we are looking for a new addition to join on the role of:
Senior Media Planner
What will this role involve?
- Develop comprehensive media strategies that align with client objectives, target audience insights, and market trends.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify media opportunities and determine the most effective channels for advertising campaigns (TV, radiom outdoor advertising, print/press, cinema and others).
- Collaborate with clients and account teams to understand their goals, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Define media objectives, set realistic targets, and establish media measurement frameworks for evaluating campaign success.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of media campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as creative, account management, and data analytics, to develop integrated media plans that align with overall marketing strategies.
- Negotiate media buys, including pricing, placements, and added value opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with media vendors.
- Monitor and optimize media campaigns regularly, adjusting strategies and tactics based on performance data, market trends, and client feedback.
- Utilize media planning tools and technologies to track and report campaign metrics, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team and Client Collaboration:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior media planners, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the quality of their work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new media platforms, and share relevant insights with the team.
- Participate in client presentations and meetings, articulating media strategies, campaign performance, and recommendations effectively.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and providing strategic guidance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their media planning and advertising efforts.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to discuss campaign performance, insights, and future recommendations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell media services, demonstrating the value of the agency's offerings.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare media proposals, pitches, and presentations for new client acquisitions.
Industry and Market Awareness:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the media planning landscape.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks for clients.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to network with peers, gain knowledge, and represent the agency's expertise.

What are we looking for?
- Previous media planning experience at least 2 years;
- Experience in an advertising agency is a must;
- Fluent English – both written and spoken;
- Keen interest in media planning in all media and channels;
- University degree completed in the field of Marketing, Advertising or Economy;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Team player attitude.
