Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Optimize internal database systems to ensure high-performance, availability, and security
• Design, implement, and maintain database systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
• Design and implement high-performance database solutions
• Monitor and manage database security, access controls, and data integrity
• Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure enhancements to support database database growth
• Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and network engineers to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL database administration
• Strong proficiency in database design, implementation, and performance tuning
• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster planning
• Hands-on experience with configuring, managing and troubleshooting SQL clusters
• Familiarity with High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DA) configurations
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database
