Junior DevOps Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software systems
• Develop and maintain automation tools for system provisioning, deployment, and monitoring
• Create and manage proactive monitoring systems with effective alerting mechanisms
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system efficiency
• Analyse system usage for capacity planning to meet growing demands
• Implement security best practices, including threat monitoring and penetration testing
• Generate and update comprehensive documentation for systems and processes
• Focus on continuous improvement to enhance system reliability and performance

Requirements:

• Proficient in German and English
• 2+ years of experience in the IT field
• Programming and scripting knowledge (Python / Go / Shell)
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms ( AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform / Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus / Grafana / ELK)
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
