Currently, we’re looking for an experienced and confident professional to join their team and be the right hand to the CEO and be responsible for the development of the processes as:

Chief Accountant

 

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Organizes, plans, and manages the company's entire financial and accounting activities.
  • Completes both monthly and annual accounting closings;
  • Participates in the development of the company's financial and accounting policies;
  • Works in accordance with Bulgarian accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Supervises and controls the work of operational accountants and manages the clients‘ accounts;
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of necessary information to management and government agencies;
  • Provides monitoring and assistance for internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Proven successful experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant - minimum 5 years;
  • Experience in People Management will be considered as an advantage;
  • English language - level B2 - C1;
  • Completed higher education (master's degree will be considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
