General Accounting Specialist (GL Focus)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare,review, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and period-end closing schedules;
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, general ledgers, and bank statements;
  • Assisting monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings by preparing financial statements;
  • Analyze financial data to support management reporting and decision-making;
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial audit materials and coordinating with internal and external auditors;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP/IFRS, and regulatory requirements;
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives across general accounting functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting, with strong emphasis on GLprocesses;
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices;
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
