For one of our biggest partners - Cargotec - we are looking for motivated and pro-active professionals to join their Indirect procurement team on the position of:
 
 
Procurement analyst
 
 
Key responsibilities & Tasks
 
  • Active member of the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process area and member of the sourcing project teams;
  • Perform procurement analytics related activities across the different indirect procurement categories and strategic sourcing projects requested by the team leader and respective project manager;
  • Gathering internal and external business intelligence by conducting current state analysis internally as well as finding supply market and supply chain intelligence on the existing, and potential supplier base;
  • Procurement analyst plays also an important role in understanding and specifying information and data requirements to gain the necessary business, market, or other relevant intelligence;
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures;
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance analytics, processes, procedures and technologies;
  • Support Solution Owners and Process Owners in continuous improvement and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures of the GBS.

Core competencies and requirements
 
  • Minimum bachelor degree in finance or business;
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Source-to-Receipt (S2R) area;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organisational and communicational skills. Skills in procurement and/or market analysis is a big advantage;
  • Advanced skills in Excel and some data mining, or reporting and analytics applications (QlikView);
  • Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PPT), experience in Google Office tools as an advantage;
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills;
  • Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices;
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required;
  • Good at communicating in a professional manner and a strong work ethic;
  • International mind-set.
