Our client is a leading F&A Services Organization, providing business solutions as a service to Global 1000 companies in 4 key areas including Finance Transformation, Finance Technology, Assurance & Compliance and Accounting advisory to provide its clients excellent service and long term financial value.
 
As our partner continues to grow in Bulgaria and Europe, they are now looking for a talented professional who has experience in accounting in an international environment, leading a team and driving the operations to join their team on the position of Manager Finance operations.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Full monitoring and reporting responsibility for several legal entities in different countries;
  • Managing a team of accountants and ensures that quality and productivity targets and objectives are met;
  • Performing monthly close activities and preparation of monthly P&L, BS and CFS under IFRS and detailed reporting packs per legal entity;
  • Preparing annual financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS and liaising with external and internal auditors;
  • Managing revenue and profitability;
  • Constantly reviewing performance criteria’s to assure global performance improvements;
  • Driving process and systems efficiencies in all areas of responsibility;
  • Reviewing and critically assessing current systems in order to assess and recommend ways to achieve maximum optimization;
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and information security standards;
  • Responsible for employee satisfaction, supporting team members and their development and develops employee retention specific strategies;
  • Evaluating performance management and timely completion of employee evaluations and reviews in line with the company standards and procedures

Experience and skills requirements:
  • Fluent level of English, other language is an advantage;
  • 5+ years for experience in finance operations;
  • 1+ yearsof people management experience;
  • Strong communication skills and customer service background;
  • Familiar with process improvement methodologies and techniques;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or/ and Financial Control
  • ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification - an advantage;
  • Good technical skills;
  • SAP FI and CO module experience is considered an advantage
